So, my first reaction when I saw this picture was "Wow!" Or, more correctly, "Holy shit!" This truly is a breathtaking picture, especially so because I know wildlife photography isn't your specialty. The overall gold tonality of the photo works well, and the circular golden bokeh really makes the picture special, yet manages not to be distracting. The swan is looking directly into the camera, which draws me into the picture. Perhaps it would be slightly better if its head was tilted slightly towards us, giving it some dimension, but that's not exactly your fault. You'll have to request that next time you two meet My only complaint is that it looks as if you may have been a wee bit overzealous with the sharpness, as there is a slight "halo" around the head, and it seems to have increased the shadow noise as well. But that's really a very minor niggle, and the piece as a whole is truly fantastic. Well done! I look forward to seeing more bird pictures from you, as you really seem to have a knack for it.
